Celestium
Introduction
Celestium was perhaps best summarised by Future Music Magazine, when
they wrote "Make no mistake, this is quality progressive (psy-trance)
techno that clearly denotes a knowledge both of the nuances of the style,
and of the equipment used. The intention is to produce music that takes
the listener on an ever-upward journey of increasing intensity - a cliché
admittedly, but one rarely realised successfully before boredom sets in.
Not so with this music though. As with much of the better quality music
in this genre, the secret is to develop intricately while giving an overall
impression of simplicity."

Who Is Celestium?
Celestium
was formed in 1994 by Neil Stevenson. Since purchasing his first synthesiser
in 1978, and through a succession of synth bands and solo projects, he
has developed a unique psy-trance sound. Neil lives in Glastonbury, Somerset,
and derives much of his inspiration for his music from walks and cycle
rides around the local landscape. Neil composes and plays all the music.
Additional material has also been supplied by others, most notably Alisons'
vocal samples on "Rising" and "Ideology", and didgeidoo
by Seagreen.
